‘Log Stack at Symonds Yat Rock' by Claire Leach is an original pen drawing made on smooth hot pressed Daler Rowney watercolour paper measuring 21cm x 14.9cm (27.5cm x 20.5cm including frame). The drawing has been signed, titled and dated on the reverse. Professionally framed in wood painted black with anti-reflective, UV protected Artglass™.

Log Stack at Symonds Yat Rock was inspired by a loop walk at Symonds Yat in November 2021. I took the photograph that I worked from with my SLR camera. The wide path mirrors the sky creating an hourglass shape within the work. I particularly enjoyed drawing the dark area to the left which looks quite abstract but is a large bush in shadow.

Framed in wood painted black with anti-reflective, UV protected Artglass™ which is anti reflective and scratch resistant with UV protection. Fitted with string ready to be hung.
